Sunday Snapshot- Birthday Getaway

I love Jack more and more everyday. That child is like an onion and everyday I get to peel back a new layer to see a little more of his personality and spirit and I love what I am seeing. His birthday was last week and he surprised us by telling us that he didn't want a party this year, but just wanted to go to a hotel as a family and play. As much as I love planning parties for my kids, I have to admit that I was so relieved at this idea. It has been a crazy few months so some time away together to relax in exchange of invitations, decorations, food, thank you notes, etc. was fine with me!
