If you have visited here before, you can probably see that I have changed the name of the blog again. I started blogging at 4URuthie to tell the story of our journey to adopt our 1st daughter. I changed it to Mountains for Maggie when we were praying for God to move mountains on behalf of our 2nd daughter. Well now it is no longer just Ruthie’s or Maggie’s stories. It is now our family's story, and the stories of those we share life with, as we Conquer Mountains together. Both ConqueringMountains.net and 4URuthie.blogspot will lead here.

Coming Along

Okay the good news is that Jack was able to walk a little tonight.  The bad news is that it was with much resistance and lots of tears.  The payoff was getting to ride in the wheelchair up to the radio station.  They even let him sit behind the mic and tell jokes.  These pictures are from the happier moments of our day.
Pray for less pain tomorrow.  They aren't going to let him leave until he is moving better.

Ginny...
I am praying! Praying for Jack's pain to go away, praying for answers and above all praying for peace that passes understanding to surround you guys and Jack and Ruthie and Sam as you continue this journey.
Love yah,
Shannon

Ginny,
It was so good to get to talk to him the other night(so unexpected) and loved seeing the picture of him on the phone with me!! I did have to laugh at your quote of the week... he said the same thing to me on the phone while telling me why he was eating vanilla instead of his favorite twist!! Trying to lay off the sugar... haha! Praying recovery at home is going well - I am sure we will talk to you guys again in a day or two! Love you all!
