If you have visited here before, you can probably see that I have changed the name of the blog again. I started blogging at 4URuthie to tell the story of our journey to adopt our 1st daughter. I changed it to Mountains for Maggie when we were praying for God to move mountains on behalf of our 2nd daughter. Well now it is no longer just Ruthie’s or Maggie’s stories. It is now our family's story, and the stories of those we share life with, as we Conquer Mountains together. Both ConqueringMountains.net and 4URuthie.blogspot will lead here.

This Summer. So. Much. Better

My goal for this summer was to replace the memories from last summer and spend as much time together as a family.

Last week we spent 3 days in Galveston just hanging out as a family.  Maggie is the world's worst car traveler so we figured a close vacation was the best way to go.

We took in as many age appropriate activities as we could, ate at some great restaurants, and played on the beach.  No it is not Florida, but my kids don't know the difference.

You will have to forgive the picture explosion but I had some special moments to capture and my kids were great sports. :)

Playing Catch Up- Pine Cove Family Camp 2015

Every year our family spends our best week at Pine Cove Family Camp in Tyler Texas.  We count down the days until it starts and walk around sad in the weeks that follow because we know how long it will be until we get to return.  This year I went to Bolivia just a few days after we returned from family camp so I have not had a chance to post my favorite pictures.  Since printing this blog is as close as I am likely to get to scrapbooking this year, you will have to tolerate a lot of memories. :)
