If you have visited here before, you can probably see that I have changed the name of the blog again. I started blogging at 4URuthie to tell the story of our journey to adopt our 1st daughter. I changed it to Mountains for Maggie when we were praying for God to move mountains on behalf of our 2nd daughter. Well now it is no longer just Ruthie’s or Maggie’s stories. It is now our family's story, and the stories of those we share life with, as we Conquer Mountains together. Both ConqueringMountains.net and 4URuthie.blogspot will lead here.

Our 4th of July Masterpieces

Last Sunday we went to The Paint Pub for family painting day.  They were painting rustic American flags which I thought was a perfect way to kick off the holiday.

I knew Ruthie would enjoy it because my girl loves to color and paint.  It was super cute to see how serious she was about getting it just right.

Jack had fun too and did a great job with his.

Sam makes a party out of every moment and was more interested in getting up to dance to the music overhead than painting.

My favorite moment was when Jack finished a section early and then came over to help Ruthie paint her stars.  He even made up a little song to help her get the motions right.

It was a memorable 2 hours and I can't wait to get these hung in our office.

It looks like you had a super fun day!!!

The girls would love to do something like this. I need to find something around here. Would be something we could do indoors when it is too hot to be outside:)

Hope you had a fabulous 4th~

xo,

Lisa
