If you have visited here before, you can probably see that I have changed the name of the blog again. I started blogging at 4URuthie to tell the story of our journey to adopt our 1st daughter. I changed it to Mountains for Maggie when we were praying for God to move mountains on behalf of our 2nd daughter. Well now it is no longer just Ruthie’s or Maggie’s stories. It is now our family's story, and the stories of those we share life with, as we Conquer Mountains together. Both ConqueringMountains.net and 4URuthie.blogspot will lead here.

Words of Wisdom Remembered in Lights

My cousin used to say, "you can't put a price on a good time."  I think of those words often like last week on a road trip home from a family funeral.  Having been reminded that life is short and time together is sweet, we decided to make a stop in College Station at Santa's Wonderland.  We rode a hayride through a maze of lights, wrote letters to and visited Santa, and shared a funnel cake while being serenaded by Elvis.  I snapped a few pictures while we were there.  Keep in mind it was dark and I did not bring my flash so they aren't the greatest of quality but they are a memory from a priceless good time.
