If you have visited here before, you can probably see that I have changed the name of the blog again. I started blogging at 4URuthie to tell the story of our journey to adopt our 1st daughter. I changed it to Mountains for Maggie when we were praying for God to move mountains on behalf of our 2nd daughter. Well now it is no longer just Ruthie’s or Maggie’s stories. It is now our family's story, and the stories of those we share life with, as we Conquer Mountains together. Both ConqueringMountains.net and 4URuthie.blogspot will lead here.

You Had Me At Chocolate

On Wednesday I received a call from work that they were not going to need me on Thursday morning.  After a short identity crisis of what on earth I was going to do with a day off, I decided I would take Ruthie on a special outing.  I put a shout out to some friends for ideas and let's say I was sold on lunch in Rice Village with dessert at a place called The Chocolate Bar.  I mean how on earth can you turn down a place like that?  Yep my friend Bernie did not need to add a description to that idea.  She had me at Chocolate.

We also went to visit a friend's new baby. Ruthie was amazed by her view from the 14th floor.
