If you have visited here before, you can probably see that I have changed the name of the blog again. I started blogging at 4URuthie to tell the story of our journey to adopt our 1st daughter. I changed it to Mountains for Maggie when we were praying for God to move mountains on behalf of our 2nd daughter. Well now it is no longer just Ruthie’s or Maggie’s stories. It is now our family's story, and the stories of those we share life with, as we Conquer Mountains together. Both ConqueringMountains.net and 4URuthie.blogspot will lead here.

Paris- The Latin Quarter

Trent and I just returned from a quick trip to Paris.  Move beyond the part where it rained and was COLD, and we had a great time.  This Houston girl just doesn't know what to do with temperatures below 50 degrees.   We stayed in the Latin quarter and loved the way it fit our style.  Every evening we walked up and down the streets sampling the food and checking out the shops.  Trent loved that we could see Notre Dame from our hotel window.  Here are just a few pics from our trip and I will post more in a few days to break it up a bit.

Ummmm hello!? A quick trip to Paris? You write that so easily, like how I say I just returned from a quick trip to the grocery store ;-) I was an exchange student to France in 5th grade. Your pictures brought back memories & the thought that one day, I'd like to return.
