If you have visited here before, you can probably see that I have changed the name of the blog again. I started blogging at 4URuthie to tell the story of our journey to adopt our 1st daughter. I changed it to Mountains for Maggie when we were praying for God to move mountains on behalf of our 2nd daughter. Well now it is no longer just Ruthie’s or Maggie’s stories. It is now our family's story, and the stories of those we share life with, as we Conquer Mountains together. Both ConqueringMountains.net and 4URuthie.blogspot will lead here.

FREEDOM! Well Almost.

There are so many great things about this rehabilitation unit that have nothing to do with rehab:

  • She is no long monitored so no more wires unless she is getting meds which is only 2 hours of the day.
  • She can leave the floor for walks.
  • No middle of the night vital checks.
  • She can go outside!
  • No more fluid restrictions and she can have more than that nasty Boost stuff that she is not a fan of.  Hello milkshakes.
We had a great day discovering all of her new freedoms.  It was pretty amazing.
Continued prayer requests are for full recovery and no more clots.

What a joy to see her so alert and enjoying the things around her. God is in the miracle working business! Praise His name!
