If you have visited here before, you can probably see that I have changed the name of the blog again. I started blogging at 4URuthie to tell the story of our journey to adopt our 1st daughter. I changed it to Mountains for Maggie when we were praying for God to move mountains on behalf of our 2nd daughter. Well now it is no longer just Ruthie’s or Maggie’s stories. It is now our family's story, and the stories of those we share life with, as we Conquer Mountains together. Both ConqueringMountains.net and 4URuthie.blogspot will lead here.

Ruthie and Cupcakes

When we were walking down the street in Rome, we came up on an Asian man who was bending metal to make things out of people's names.  He started with one long piece and then ended up with a picture frame or in our case, a necklace.

I gave Ruthie her new necklace on Wednesday and we decided to celebrate with a trip to the new cupcake place in town, Rise Cupcakes.

A friend asked me the other day what the deal was with cupcakes these days.  I don't know, but I am a fan!  Long live the cupcake! :)

A little sugar high and we were all dancing to the music overhead.

Completely uninhibited.

Yes, long live the cupcake!

I can tell by the way Ruthie is dressed and how cute her hair is that you are loving having a girl. I don't think I would know what to do with a girl!
