We have a Chinese family that has been visiting our church off and on for the last 6 months. When I saw them Sunday, them mom said to me, "Happy New Year". I smiled and thought, "I guess it has been a long time since I have seen them". Well, I got home and pulled up my blog and saw all the "Happy Chinese New Year" posts on everyone else's blogs. OOPS! Totally forgot or better said, totally didn't know.
The good news is that Chinese New Year is celebrated for 15 days so I still have a little time to cook that Chinese dinner. Ruthie was given a beautiful dress by her Nana while we were in China, so I did dress her in that on Monday and took some pictures.

Adorable pictures. Her little smile just melts my heart. I didn't realize they celebrated CNY for 15 days! I thought it was just a week. Well, I sure hope all the special offices working on our paperwork open up soon again. We are hoping to get our TA soon!
