If you have visited here before, you can probably see that I have changed the name of the blog again. I started blogging at 4URuthie to tell the story of our journey to adopt our 1st daughter. I changed it to Mountains for Maggie when we were praying for God to move mountains on behalf of our 2nd daughter. Well now it is no longer just Ruthie’s or Maggie’s stories. It is now our family's story, and the stories of those we share life with, as we Conquer Mountains together. Both ConqueringMountains.net and 4URuthie.blogspot will lead here.

Sunday Snapshot- Tea Party in the Field

Ni Hao Y'all

I have great neighbors who don't mind me calling them regularly for last minute photo shoots whenever I get a new toy or an idea.  Our girls have been a number of things including, but not limited to, fairies on the golf course, cowgirls in the hay field, princesses at the nail salon, and now participants at a tea party in the middle of a field.   These were all taken with my new Canon 5D mark ii.  I am going to love figuring this camera out.  I know it has a lot of potential that far exceeds my ability. :)

Lovely images! I'll pretend not to be horribly and embarrassingly pea-green with jealously over your 5D! Green does not suit me well!
Nice shots and happy learning!

Hi Ginny-Nice to cyber-meet you!
Thank you so much for the compliments. I wasn't sure where to comment. Hope this is ok.
My little nothin' of a camera is a Canon Rebel T1i. But someday (not soon) I hope to upgrade. If you go to my blog, at the top there is a page called "in my bag." it lists and talks about all the lenses and stuff I use. I don't know much about photography, just the stuff I use. I've tried to upgrade to good lenses so that someday when I do have a good Canon, all my lenses will do it justice.
Thanks again,
Nancy
PS-I know very very little about Photoshop and process most everything in Lightroom.
