If you have visited here before, you can probably see that I have changed the name of the blog again. I started blogging at 4URuthie to tell the story of our journey to adopt our 1st daughter. I changed it to Mountains for Maggie when we were praying for God to move mountains on behalf of our 2nd daughter. Well now it is no longer just Ruthie’s or Maggie’s stories. It is now our family's story, and the stories of those we share life with, as we Conquer Mountains together. Both ConqueringMountains.net and 4URuthie.blogspot will lead here.

House full of Raccoons

Last night was 2nd grade musical and Jack's class dressed as raccoons.

The entire family attended the production

A few weeks ago when Jack found out about the musical, he wasn't too thrilled about dressing up as a raccoon.

His words to me were, "There is a point when it is no longer cute to dress as an animal"

He got over that and was one darn cute raccoon

A few minutes after returning home, I was met by a 2nd raccoon in our home.  I guess it is time to get back to life as usual after just a few more moments of cuteness.

Great costume! His comment about cuteness is parallel with many comments from my 8 year old. I don't care, it's still possible to be cute and 8!
