If you have visited here before, you can probably see that I have changed the name of the blog again. I started blogging at 4URuthie to tell the story of our journey to adopt our 1st daughter. I changed it to Mountains for Maggie when we were praying for God to move mountains on behalf of our 2nd daughter. Well now it is no longer just Ruthie’s or Maggie’s stories. It is now our family's story, and the stories of those we share life with, as we Conquer Mountains together. Both ConqueringMountains.net and 4URuthie.blogspot will lead here.

Proud Moment

I was in class all this weekend so I missed church on Sunday. Jack sat through the service while Trent preached and apparently he placed a visitor slip/prayer request in the offering plate. One of the deacons gave this to Trent after the service.

I very rarely talk about the fact that my mother passed away when I was little because I don't want to scare the kids, but apparently he was listening once when I told him that she had gone to live with Jesus. Penny, Buddy, and Tim are my aunt, dad, and uncle who just lost their mom when my grandmother passed away.

Jack is my thinker and is always pondering something. It warms my heart when I get glimpses into his heart and see things like this.

Oh Ginny! That is so tender and beautiful! Jack has a special calling on his life. The Lord reminds me of Jack and has me pray for him often.
Love yah!
